At the end of 2023, we received an extraordinary order from the Turkish company

We have chosen to interview the owner and CEO Cuneyt Yildirim from Canatek Teknoloji Elektronik

The following products are included in the order from Movomech AB,
A total of ~ 560 meters Mechrail railsystem together with 28 pc of Mechspace.

• Tell us briefly what your company does and what your role is at Canatek Teknoloji Elektronik.
CANATEK has been founded in 2010 in Istanbul, Turkey to provide integrated systems with state-of-the-art technology products and innovative engineering solutions to manufacturing industries.

In close cooperation with customers and business partners, CANATEK develops solutions for superior productivity and quality. Canatek expanded operations in 2011 in UAE with opening office in Dubai and 2013 in Saudi arabia in Dammam.

Focus of Canatek is to increase ergonomic in manufacturing industries by innovative engineering solutions in material handling and line supply chain to prepare more comfortable and safe production environments.

Range of products and services includes aluminum rail systems, cranes, lift and move machines, manipulators, articulated arms, complete gripping systems and clamping solutions for holding workpieces.

Align with new technology trend by integration Industrial 4.0 concepts, robotics, pick to light and automation to material handling equipment, Canatek can provide advanced solutions for customers new demands.

• How long have you collaborated with Movomech and how do you experience the collaboration with us?
We have been working with Movomech for nearly 10 years. We have realized very important and big projects so far.
Among them, TOGG and finally Ford J74 projects were quite big projects. I had great support from Jonas Ahlgren and the Management during the taking of orders for the projects.

• Who is the customer, what do they manufacture and what will they use Movomech´s products for in their daily work?
The last project name is Ford J74, they will produce Electric and Diesel vehicles for Volkswagen at Ford Golcuk factory.

• This order will of course also bring success to your company, what are your future plans for Canatek Teknoloji Elektroni?
Canatek not only provides Manipulators in this project, but also together with Atlas Copco supplies 5 multi spindle system and 50 articulating arms.
This means that Canatek has a footprint on a very large part of the assembly line of this factory. We want to move forward with our partners to much bigger projects without breaking the trust shown to us.

• What were the key factors that determined that Canatek won this order?
The most important factor is affordability and reliability. Before that, we had built a trust in our customers in our projects.
The most important reason for us to receive this order is their belief that we will be successful in this project, even though it is bigger than the previous ones, and that our price is affordable compared to its competitors.

It should not be forgotten that our competitor Dalmec is a well-known and market leader company in Turkey.
